[arm-allstar] TX Timeout "when" connected ??

Hi Doug

my PA become so hot here that i need a protection for that PA so i was sure in the software there was a line somewhere,
now i must translate 4 min 30 second in millisecond,, :-)

Gervais,

   There are two timeouts defined in rpt.conf. TX and RX. They are in
milliseconds. Typical settings are shown below. In addition you may have a
hardware TX timeout in your transmitter or transceiver.  The rx_timeout I
believe is the one you are requiring. This would timeout if the COS was
held open for an extended time. Obviously this needs to be longer than the
tx_timeout as it would also time out if someone was talking that long. This
would be used in conjunction with rx_cosflap.

tx_timeout=240000

rx_timeout=300000
                                ; Timeout on hardware COS. Used to avoid
hangup
                                ; of circuits with COS lockup.

rx_cosflap=20
                                ; Minimum COS Timeout reset period. Used to
                                ; avoid re-setting of rx_timeout with a
flapping
                                ; squelch.
