[arm-allstar] ARM-allstar Digest, Vol 72, Issue 12

I would like to enable phone patch on several of my hamvoip nodes. Is all of the code still intact to do this? What do I need other than a SIP provider?

Any info appreciated.

I am having trouble connecting to some nodes and I also see that my entry on the map (allstar.map) is not showing the node as active.? Although, I do see my node on the node list and that it is active (49429).
I just did a system update so I am running all the latest software as of today.??
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

Dave,

Your node registration isn't showing up in the system. What is the output
of the check_reg.sh command? Go to the bash prompt (admin menu option #9)
and run:

check_reg.sh

Hi Dave,

Okay, you're not registered and that's the issue. Did this just stop
working? Did you change your /etc/asterisk/iax.conf file in any way?

I have a node after upgrading it, sound distorted on in bound. I call it Alvin and the Chipmunks sound. I booted the node several times, powered down the node several time with no change. Normally this would of cleared it. I also moved the URK to a different USB port.Any recommendations?Thank David KG5RDF

Is the RX and TX audio distorted, or just one direction?

Intresting. Is the problem coming from only 1 node that transmits
in-bound, or everyone? Also, what audio CODEC is used?

David,

It's worth manually re-installing the HamVoIP/AllStar software to see if
that helps. To perform this, goto a bash prompt (admin menu #9) and run:

astdn.sh
pacman -Sy hamvoip-asterisk
astup.sh
