Got everything working. Had to modify config.txt file. My wifi issue is a bug in the pi4:https://www.tomshardware.com/news/raspberry-pi-4-wi-fi-not-workingDoes work on 5g though.David KG5RDF

I plugged into one and got to login, powered down, switched the connector to the other HDMI and got a login.
