[arm-allstar] Node not connecting

I have built two nodes Both worked but one node had very noisy audio. Using identical BF888s, I swapped radios but it made no difference.
I then swapped the FOB on thhe noisy node and the audio from the RPI comes through clearly, but the node will not connect to any node even my other node.
Been In the hamvoip interface and redone the wired  network setup but no change. I am using a different port from the other node and the bindaddress is correct.
Checked rpt.conf and asterisk.conf but can't see any changes likely to cause a problem. PTT and COS signals all working. Any ideas?
