David,

   I was saying that because thousands of people use Hamvoip software. I
have a 15 or so nodes running 24/7 myself. The code is extremely stable and
runs forever without reboot. There are few software packages that have that
track record. What you are seeing is somehow unique to your systems. It is
certainly not a common occurrence.
