[arm-allstar] Two USB interfaces- confused

I have a two-node system on one RPi. I had to replace the Pi because of 
a failed power supply. Although I thought I followed the procedure 
'setting up a second radio node' but the two USB interfaces are reversed 
and my startup macro connecting the nodes causes a ping-pong effect. I 
tried reversing the 'usb' and 'usb1' interfaces but I'm still having 
trouble. I have a backup SD card- should I start over? I'm trying to 
avoid going to the site and I have remote access.
