Hi Matt,

As others have mentioned, corrupted SD cards are frequently caused by weak 
power supplies.

For a STAND ALONE AC power solution, I've found these adapters to work 
well. I'm using maybe 10 of these, currently. These adapters have a Micro 
USB plug, suitable for the RPi2 and RPi3 type boards.
