Update RPI 2-3-4 Version 1.6-08 February 2, 2020  includes the following -

Updated saytime.pl to include the ability to save the sound files for
playing by other means such as in tail messages, etc. Current usage for
immediate voice stays the same - no third parameter.

Usage: saytime.pl [<locationid>] nodenumber [1=save time and wx, 2=save wx
- both no voice]

Example:  saytime.pl 19001 1998 1   -  Save time and zip 19001 weather
sound file to /tmp/current-time.gsm, no voice to node

                saytime.pl 19001 1998 2  - Save just zip 19001 weather
sound file to /tmp/current-time.gsm, no voice to node

Updated wx_condition.sh  to include precipitation rate/hr when available.
Also no voice for total rain or precipitation rate if total rain is 0.

Added s option for saving to file, no voice.

wx_condition.sh KPHL 40000 s      << Just save output to
/tmp/wx_condition.gsm

wx_condition.sh w-kparichb3 1998 s

Weather sound data saved to /tmp/current_wx.gsm

To use either of these and be current you would call either saytime.pl or
wx_condition.sh with the file save option BEFORE using the /tmp sound
files. This could be done in  a script or cron depending on how you are
using the sound files. You would then use the gsm files WITHOUT the .gsm
anywhere that Hamvoip uses sound files.
