[arm-allstar] Telemetry volume

Hello All,

I have an addon question that is somewhat related to this topic. In the Simpleusb-Tune-menu, what is the Transmit DSP Level adjustment? I am asking this here because when I set up my repeater, I adjusted my audio RX/TX using a service monitor to measure the deviation. The audio sounds excellent with the levels appropriately set, but my telemetry was also a bit loud and almost slightly muffled. I lowered the telemetry level using the setting in rpt.conf, and that helped some, but Alison was still a bit too loud and still slightly muffled. I noticed that my DSP level was set at 999 as a default, and not knowing what it was, I started to play with that setting to see what changed. I started lowering the TX DSP level to see what difference it made, and when I lowered it to around 100, I noticed that Alison sounded much clearer, without the muffled sound. I left my repeater set with DSP level 100, and it has been that way for a while now. However, it's been nagging me in the back of my head because I'm not certain what that setting is used for. I have been searching online for what the DSP level is, and I haven't been able to find an answer. Can someone explain what it is and how it should be used?

Again, this is kind of related to this topic because it affected Alison's output level and clarity on my system. I apologize if this should be a separate topic.
