Yeah, all that seems pretty high.

Maybe the emphasis/de-emphasis isn't right? Using a portable SHARI node, 
I generally don't take the RX past 450, or the TX past 500. It's plenty 
hot with no distortion on telemetry, and network traffic isn't quiet by 
any means. I also generally turn the DSP level down as well, because 
some of my radios' CTCSS decoders will drop out when that level is too 
high, even if you compensate with TX A level. I can't see, so I can't 
read the graphs or look at service monitors. I've just tuned everything 
by ear and made sure all my radios are reliably passing DTMF to 
Asterisk, and that everything sounds OK.
