Yes, deleting these files can be accomplished several ways. Here is one 
way. Go to a bash prompt (admin menu option #9) and run:

cd /etc/asterisk
find -name '*@*backup' -delete

...Make SURE to get that "find" command as listed verbatim or it might eat 
files you don't want to get rid of!
