Make sure the .htpasswd file you created is readable by the web server.
You can set it with this command:
chmod +r /srv/http/supermon/.htpasswd

Subject: [arm-allstar] supermon not logging in
I set up a new node for a new user. He asked about controlling his node
remotely while out and about on walks. I configured supermon. I entered his
admin password in Manager.conf, in allmon.ini, and set the htpasswd. We are
unable to login. I have changed the password 7-8 different times and still
unable to login to supermon. I have all ports forwarded correctly. To say I
am stumped is an understatement.
