Rick,

 Yes, and in 99.9%+ of the cases it works fine.  We are trying to figure
out why a couple of users are having wifi problems that they did not have
before the update. I think it might be router related. A year or so ago
there was a major security problem with the wpa_supplicant file that
required a router update. I doubt most do router updates but for security
reasons you should. If anyone has wifi connection issues please let us know
what your router make and model is and if you are using Pi 3 wifi and 2.4G
or 5G.
