Alan,
If you have powered the DTMF generator in the mic correctly, dialing *3
and the node number should just work.
It works for me ... then again some if using the Alinco (and I'm sure
others) they have DTMF off switches on the mic.
Don't overlook turning it on making the dial pad light up.
