[arm-allstar] Echolink on pseudo node

In the documentation for setting up echolink on hamvoip, it states it is
better to use a pseudo node to allow for connecting / disconnecting the
echolink activity from the allstar node.  I have configured echolink.conf
file with parameter "astnode=1999".  However, when I issue a node connect
command on my public node with an echolink node destination, my public node
connects to the echolink node without any issue.  Not using the private
node 1999; I do not have my registered node connected to my node 1999.

Is there something I am missing here?
