Rachid,  No problem with questions.win32diskimager has no way to partially copy an SD card. So if you have a16 or 32 meg SD card it will save the entire amount. Then a new card whichis the same size might have some different overhead and if you try to writethe full card it might give you a size error. One answer is to use Linux tocopy it.You can use a Linux desktop you could use the dd command. Here is anexample.dd if=/dev/sdx of=whatever_you want_to_call_it.img  bs-1M count=4000So when you plug the SD card into a reader and into the Linux desktop itwill be recognized as a specific device.  Plug it in and use the  dmesgcommand to see where it is assigned.  This would be /dev/something   Thenuse that as the input file (if) in the dd command as shown above to createthe file.  You can later write the file using wind32diskimager which wouldbe the safest way to do it.This will only save 4G which is all that is used by Allstar on the card nomatter what size it is.However another approach is the file-backup.sh and file-restore.sh whichworks well. You can specify in /usr/local/etc/backup.conf the files youwant to backup. Then after you install a new card you can restore theoriginal back. These scripts have the option of saving/restoring to/from afile or USB stick.BTW if you don't have a linux desktop it is real easy to create one using aPi, keyboard, and HDMI monitor. Raspbien runs very nicely and you couldplug in a USB reader with th SD card and write it to a USB stick pluggedinto another USB port. It would be slower but would work. The Pi 3B+ makesa great desktop for the shack and the new Pi 4 would be even better.*73 Doug**WA3DSP**http://www.crompton.com/hamradio <http://www.crompton.com/hamradio>*On Fri, Jul 5, 2019 at 1:25 PM "Rachid Karroo via ARM-allstar" <arm-allstar at hamvoip.org> wrote:> Hi all> I apologize if I ask too many questions.
