Doug I have tried swapping the tx and rx audio lines with no effect.

Larry I'm sure sure about the mike pins this is the first time ive tried vthe gm350 so i'm in the dark.

chance you have the RX and TX audio lines reversed? I don't have the radio
connections handy but maybe someone else does.

Alan,

Not familiar with that Mmotorola radio but do recall the GM 300 series
required jumping a couple of Mic pins does the GM-350 require that and
if so is it in place?
