Larry,

I assume you are using Hamvoip code. The foolproof way to make sure you are
not connected anywhere else before making a connect is to do *76
(disconnect all) before connecting elsewhere. When you are disconnected
from all nodes the courtesy tone you hear is different being the one tone
verses the double tone when you are connected somewhere. You can also use
lsnodes or supermon to determine where and to whom you are connected. It is
important to not connect nodes together that do not desire to be in that
state. Doing the *76 first will ensure that does not happen.
