about hamlib control of the TM-V71A.
As far as scripts are concerned the autopatch control howto at hamvoip.org
is a start. You basically capture DTMF and convert it to commands in a
script to send to hamlib (rigctl) to control the radio. I believe in the
case of the TM-V71A you would select memories. Probably if you want more
complete control you could select a different radio. I suspect there are
some out there who have written general scripts for hamlib as the basic
commands are the same for any radio. Hamlib converts its commands to those
the radio requires. The same script would work for just about any radio as
long as the hamlib command given was mapped to the radio.
