Eric,

 Wow you have been using an old BBB for too long! That has not been
supported in years. The Pi has always had two nodes - 1998,1999 at setup
and of course all the functions follow. I think you will like the Pi. Too
many improvements to list have been made to the SW since the BBB. Have fun!
