Hello everyone,

I have several sites that I use GMAIL.com to receive alerts
and everything works for my 9 sites and for a site I am not able to receive them alerts
I have reconfigured this site several times and it does not work

here is my SSMTP file

#

# /etc/ssmtp.conf -- a config file for sSMTP sendmail.

#

# The person who gets all mail for userids < 1000

# Make this empty to disable rewriting.

# root=ve2cva at gmail.com

# The place where the mail goes. The actual machine name is required

# no MX records are consulted. Commonly mailhosts are named mail.domain.com

# The example will fit if you are in domain.com and you mailhub is so named.

# mailhub=smtp.gmail.com:587

# Where will the mail seem to come from?

# rewriteDomain=y

# The full hostname

hostname=ve2cva.gmail.com

FromLineOverride=YES

# The user that gets all the mails (UID < 1000, usually the admin)

root=ve2cva at gmail.com

# The mail server (where the mail is sent to), both port 465 or 587 should be acceptable

# See also https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78799

mailhub=smtp.gmail.com:587

# The address where the mail appears to come from for user authentication.

rewriteDomain=gmail.com

# The full hostname. Must be correctly formed, fully qualified domain name or GMail will reject connection.

hostname=yourlocalhost.yourlocaldomain.tld

# Use SSL/TLS before starting negotiation

UseTLS=Yes

UseSTARTTLS=Yes

# Username/Password

AuthUser=ve2cva at gmail.com

AuthPass=xxxxxxxxxx

AuthMethod=LOGIN

# Email 'From header's can override the default domain?

FromLineOverride=yes

I have the same configuration as my 9 other sites
and I do not understand why for this one it does not work?

moreover I receive an error message
when I'm in BASH COMMAND

sendmail: Can not open smtp.gmail.com:587 <http://smtp.gmail.com:587/>

can you help me find the solution

Thank you to all of you
and good day

73’s
