I think you are confusing PC with Windows. PC can be any OS. The PC
version of IRLP runs in Linux. I heard you can get a key by donating $40
but don't hold me to that. The PC version is a kludge now days because it
uses a parallel printer port for control which computers have not had for
ages. So you either need an adapter card or a very old PC. If you have not
looked at it get the IRLP howto from the hamvoip.org web site. It shows how
to do it with hamvoip and gives a subscribe address for the
arm-allstar-irlp mail list. If yo are interested you should subscribe to
that and ask these questions there. Many have it running and could give you
some tips.
