Some of the outages are overnight or even a couple of days. There are no
doubt short ones lasting only minutes. But hamVOIP seems to give up after
about 20 minutes. Note that it's not just the link that is lost, but the
Internet connection altogether. I have decided to try the linking from the
other end where the Internet is not lost - just the connection to the other
node is lost.
Here is a recent one as seen from the end that is losing the network - you
can see from start to finish it is about 20 minutes.

Ken,
I know of no change to *73 that would create that behavior. *73 will
cancel if the node you are issuing it on (not to) either restarts asterisk
or reboots otherwise it basically has a very long timeout measured in weeks
of retries. Is your outage that long?
