[arm-allstar] Echolink on Pseudo Node 1999

Greg,
The second node, 1999 by default, is already a pseudo node. Running
Echolink on it is fine and you would normally connect it to your main node.
I do that here on my hub. The problem is that in that case if you connect
to your main node you will not be able to connect out over Echolink. Only
incoming will work. You also will not have Echolink connect and disconnect
messages. They will be local to the 1999 node which would have no radio
connected. The upside of doing it this way is that you can isolate Echolink
from the main node if necessary. In my case on my hub I don't care about
outgoing, I never use it nor do I care about Echolink telemetry. So you
have to make a decision which is best for you. Putting Echolink on your
main node is not a problem other than you can't isolate it. If that is not
a problem in your case I would do it that way. You would then specify the
main Allstar node number in the echolink.conf file. Doing it this way a
radio or iax connection to the main node would just use the standard
Echolink connect method - *33xxxxxx - where xxxxxx is the Echolink node
number padded to 6 digits with leading 0's. *13xxxxxx to disconnect.
I hope I did not confuse you here. If you have further questions let me
know.
