Also, if you happen to need to a schedule for the Nth weekday of the month (i.e. the 2nd Monday of each month), you can use this syntax in crontab.

# First Monday only example
34 19 1-7 * * [ $(date '+\%u') eq 1 ] && /usr/sbin/asterisk -rx "rpt fun 47923 *733004544" ; Georgia Fun

The "1-7" will execute only during the first 7 days of the month, and the if the day of the week is Monday (eq 1), it will run the rest of the command.

# Here is a 2nd Wednesday of the month example...
50 19 8-14 * * [ $(date '+\%u') eq 3 ] && /usr/sbin/asterisk -rx "rpt fun 47923 *7389667" ; Alabama

There are other variations but this has worked for me.

me.

Here is how i got it going and what my current schedule looks like if
anyone is interested:

ssh into your node and you can be in any folder and run this and edit:
crontab -e

put this at the bottom of the file:
