The parameter you are looking to find is called console blanking.

You can check console blanking with the command 'cat /sys/module/kernel/parameters/consoleblank’ to tell you whether blanking is on or off. It will return ‘0’ if off. To enable in /boot/cmdline, the command is ‘consoleblank=xxx’ where xxx is the number of seconds delay before the screen goes off. This is a kernel parameter. /boot/cmdline must remain a single line. ‘consoleblank=600’ would give a timeout for the display of 10 minutes.
