Speaking of which, I ve had no problems with a Linux environment ssh 
connection until after the most recent update.

Now, after being prompted for the root password, the ssh client simply 
hangs instead of being presented with the admin menu.

A "journalctl -f" on a connected console shows a successful connection 
as usual, as does an "lsof -nPi | grep ssh" which shows the ssh 
connection as "(ESTABLISHED)".
