Yes, I doubt that would work. But you can produce and play an audio file if
that would work for you. I do it here for a distinct courtesy tone.

ct2=/etc/asterisk/local/some_audio_file

The audio file has to be asterisk playable, no extent as defined here, and
not too long as this is a courtesy tone.

Use Sox to convert a file from another format to asterisk playable.

sox -V audio.wav -r 8000 -c 1 -t ul audio.ul
