There isn't a script currently included in the HamVoIP release to send
text/e-mail messages. However, writing a small script to send an e-mail
message is very simple, using the connpgm= and discpgm= rpt.conf
parameters.

The main complexity with sending e-mail with most ISP's these days is that 
you've got to use their e-mail server as the relay, otherwise your message 
will get blocked over spam concerns. This step may require some form of 
authentication.

It's also possible to send connect / disconnect messages to twitter or 
similar services.
