[arm-allstar] Connecting to another node

I set up a node for a friend. I have no problem connecting to other nodes
and he has no problem connecting to me. I however get connection failed
messages when I try to connect to him. I have tried connecting with
Supermon and using DTMF on my radio. Any clue what I am doing wrong?
