[arm-allstar] Node locks up upon loss of WiFi

Chris,
We have not been able to duplicate your issue and no one else has
complained of this problem. There is no connection between the wifi or
ethernet being connected and the USB heartbeat speed or any of the other
issues you mentioned. Allstar can be and is run without internet
connectivity as a repeater controller. Perhaps you have changed something
in the configuration to cause this but unless we knew the changes you have
made we would not know how to duplicate it. Many people run hotspots and
use wireless and as far as I know this has not happened.
Keep in mind you CANNOT use wireless and wired simultaneously. Doing so
will not cause the problem you are seeing but will cause routing and
connectibliity issues. If you plug in wired you need to go into the
wireless setup and turn off wireless especially if there is the possibility
of the wireless connecting to a nearby hotspot you have turned on.
Try clearing your wireless, deleting the wpa_supplicant file, and just
adding in the one hotspot.
If that doesn't work I would suggest you burn a new SD card and just do the
simple setup and do the wireless setup and see if you experience the same
problem before you make other changes.
