[arm-allstar] broadcastify

I am have trouble with broadcastify. I spent a fews days trying to get it to work. it is reporting on line. however there is no audio being heard from it. I have followed the how to. in rpt.conf I have added in the node section

 outstreamcmd=/bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml 

doing a ps ax it reports

  603 ?        S      0:00 /bin/sh -c /usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
  604 ?        S      0:01 /usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - -
  605 ?        S      0:00 /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml

I am at a loss at this point. normally I like to figure stuff out on my own and get things to work. but at this point nothing seems to work getting audio to broadcastify maybe I'm overlooking something?
