[arm-allstar] Multiple-Use R-Pi/Allstar?

John,
There are several ways to do this. The Pi GPIO could be used in
conjunction with the gpio control software that is part of the hamvoip
distribution. See the GPIO howto on the hamvoip website. You would need to
build up some interface to drive your relays. The Pi is 3V logic.
There is also a howto on using USB and a board from Adafruit to get many
I/O bits. This is shown with a 8 relay board in a howto. The parts are very
inexpensive.
A third way would be to use the USB FOB GPIO. You would probbly need a
CM119 chip in the FOB which supplies 8 bits, seven of which can be used.
I would probably opt for the first or second choice above. The relay boards
are readily available on Ebay - links in the howto - and could be used for
any of the options.
