[arm-allstar] ATTENTION - Node registration and node database download failures

There have been reports of node registration failures and node database
download failures over the last several months and much more severely in
the last week. This is NOT a hamvoip software issue but rather
Allstarlink.org inc's failure to maintain their servers. Because of this we
have developed our own registration and DNS node lookup system. The DNS
portion has been in beta for over 6 months and for those who are using it,
it has worked flawlessly. Unfortunately it also depends on information from
the Allstar servers which has been very flaky.

For those who cannot register there is not an immediate fix until our
registration server is in place. For those who can register but are not
getting the node database - /tmp/rpt_extnodes we can offer the use of the
beta DNS until our permanent DNS and registration solution goes into
effect. We expect to be rolling out the new system in the coming week so
please bear with the problem. The new hamvoip servers will greatly improve
the Allstar system.  There will undoubtedly be a few hiccups as there would
be with the roll out of any system of this complexity but I can assure you
we will be on top of it.

Until we roll out the new code if anyone is having problems downloading the
/tmp/rpt_extnodes file, which would cause you to not be able to connect
anywhere, please email me personally and I will forward the simple
instructions for you to convert to DNS lookup on your server.
