weather.sh unlike weather_condition.sh does not directly play to voice. It rather saves a temperature and condition voice to /tmp that is played by other scripts, primarily saytime.pl.
saytime.pl <wxid> <node>
saytime 18954 40000
Of course use your wxid and node.
If you add the wxid to the cron statement for on the hour time it will also play the weather temp and condition on the hour.
