I followed the how to, I searched past message traffic here, I searched Google, but I am still having an issue...
rpt.conf line says -
outstreamcmd=/bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xmln/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
The feed never comes up and in my CLI window I keep getting the following, over and over and over again...
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8.0 --bitwidth 16 - - | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -c /etc/ezstream.xml
I tried this rpt.conf line from another internet tutorial -
outstreamcmd=/bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
The feed never comes up and in my CLI window I keep getting this over and over and over again -
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
-- app_rpt node 42413 starting output stream /bin/sh,-c,/usr/bin/lame --preset cbr 16 -r -m m -s 8 --bitwidth 16 - - 2> /tmp/stream.status | /usr/local/bin/ezstream -qvc /etc/ezstream.xml
My ezstream.xml file looks like this -
<ezstream>
<url>http://audio1.broadcastify.com:80/TheMountNameTheyGaveMe</url>
<sourcepassword>ThePassWordTheyGaveMe</sourcepassword>
<format>MP3</format>
<filename>stdin</filename>

<svrinfogenre>Amateur Radio</svrinfogenre>
<svrinfodescription>N5MBM 52.3500 MHz Repeater</svrinfodescription>
<svrinfobitrate>16</svrinfobitrate>
<svrinfochannels>1</svrinfochannels>
<svrinfosamplerate>22050</svrinfosamplerate>
<svrinfopublic>1</svrinfopublic>
</ezstream>
Does anyone have any idea where I went wrong?
It's GOT to be something simple!
I have had this particular stream running for years on and old radio shack scanner piped into scannercast running on an old Windoze box I would really like to retire. I would rather just have the RasPi on the node stream right to it.
Could it be something as simple as having the redirect a port forwarding rule from the old Windoze box to the Ras Pi? I tried that and still can't get it to work...
I am sort of stumped at the moment...
