[arm-allstar] Android iaxrpt issue

Everyone,

A few weeks ago I updated the iaxrpt howto at the hamvoip.org web site.
This application has worked fine for me on my Samsung Tab A pad the few
times I have used it BUT I wanted to make you aware that there have been
some issues with it. Be very careful using it as there are no timeouts. If
the PTT gets keyed it will stay keyed until you tap it to unkey. Leaving it
keyed can easily happen if you put it in your pocket or forget to tap it
off. This is really no different than the Windows version in which you
could do the same thing by keying it and walking away.

So if you intend to run iaxrpt please have it under your control at all
times and be aware of when it is keyed. The same thing is true of Echolink
applications. You have to physically unkey but unlike a microphone you can
forget to do it!

The Android iaxrpt is considered beta and we have no control over its
development other than making suggestions. I don't even know if there is
any continuing development so be happy with what you have and learn to use
it appropriately.

These iax, echolink, etc. phone/computer applications are nice when you
can't get in via radio but lets not forget this is Amateur Radio. Use a
radio when you can!
