[arm-allstar] Audio Drop Out

I turned the mic gain down to 15% and that seems to mitigate the issue. I will have to run it for a while to see if it really resolves the problem completely, but it seems much better. For my mobile use in a noisy Jeep, I have had the mic gain set at 30% and I always get good audio reports both on FM and SSB, so it will be interesting to see if anyone notices a difference with it set to 15%. I guess the AB5N mod makes the mic pretty hot because it doesn't take much gain to make it work. As with all things HAM radio I will have to try it for a bit to see if it really changed anything, but listening in echo mode it seems better. Thanks, Chris - W6CS - 73.

I've found that with the AB5N mic mod the 7000 mic level should be set
to a lower level ... around 15-20% for FM repeater work. Also, did you
by chance program the 888 to narrow by accident? That could also cause
the issue you are experiencing.
