Chris,

It probably could be done but it would require some scripting that I do not
have time to do.

I also don't understand your need to do this because if you connected to
the destination especially with a *73 permanent connect why would you not
be connected? Unless the other end specifically disconnected you or you
specifically disconnected at your end you should be and stay connected.
Also if you need to know if you are connected just keyup and identify. You
don't have to kerchunk.
