Jeff,
I suspect the problem you are having is that the gm300 is not programmed
to put out COS on the pin you have selected on it. Does the actual pin from
the radio connected to the FOB change when the gm300 is receiving? If that
is not happening then you are not going to see any change in the
simpleusb-tune-menu 'V' view option. This pin from the radio must be
connected to pin 8 of the DMK URI and then item J in simpleusb-tune-menu
set so when the gm300 is receiving a valid signal the COS INPUT goes to
keyed.
If the Motorola is not putting out the COS we do now have Motorola
programming capability in our code assuming you have the programming
cables. If you want to go that route see the Motorola programming howto on
the hamvoip.org web page.
We recommend simpleusb be used in our code as usbradio has audio flaws but
if you must use it you can. This would allow you to use the PL on flat
audio fed from your radio to activate COS rather than the hard wired
approach used in simplusb.
