Eric,

IRLP support is now very close and will be in beta for awhile before
actual release. It just has not been high on the priority list because of
other more important Allstar things. I must emphasize though that we need
to encourage the use of Allstar and not echolink or IRLP. Both are inferior
to Allstar and the very best thing to do would be to encourage those
regular echolink or IRLP users needing to talk to Allstar users to get on
Allstar! The support for IRLP when it does come into the hamvoip code will
primarily be for gateways to/from IRLP and not to encourage anyone who is
not currently a IRLP user to start using it. As far as I know you cannot
get an IRLP node number without purchasing the IRLP hardware so users
should not expect IRLP to work in the hamvoip code unless they already have
an IRLP node number based on existing IRLP hardware. I see no reason for
the ordinary Allstar user to need or want it on their servers.
