[arm-allstar] 1KHZ whine

Hey everyone, I've never been able to completely get rid of an annoying 1KHz saw or square wave whine on transmit and or receive. Gotten close to where you really have to turn the volume up way high to hear it, but mostly noticeable ant normal levels. I hear it on other stations during their transmissions, and I ask them if they're running DMK URI's, and they all say yes.
Has anyone else noticed this, and or has anyone dug for the source of it? I suspect URI, as this seems to be a common denominator.

I was using Verizon and it was a PITA. Every billing cycle they would reset the mifi and I would have to physically have to turn it back on. My guru WH6AV put a "back door" on it and when they found it, they blocked it. I called the tech support to no avail. They told me to pay the $500 one time fee or there's nothing they can do. One tech told me that they can wave the fee for government, public service and police agencies. Trying to convince them that ham radio is public service was a non-starter. I gave up and quit using it.

Hey guys,

OK, so we are working on setting up an allstarnode on my repeater system. We're putting it right at the site hooked up to my scom 7330.
So the only way we can get internet at the site is through cellular.
Fortunately we have a solid connection up there with Verizon. The big issue is port forwarding. We obviously need to do that. Anyone else on here have a similar issue? I know that the ports need to see a public IP and often with cellular that changes.
Any thoughts?

Cheers,
