Greg,

 I sent Dave an update for this. If an alert was active when you turned it
off it did not cancel it. It should be in a future update.

For now you can either reboot or run this line in Linux -

/bin/cp -f /usr/local/bin/AUTOSKY/SOUNDS/asn99.wav
/tmp/AUTOSKY/WXA/wx-tail.wav
