Hi Doug
Is there any way the Weather Script can report the temp in degrees
centigrade for those of us with that challenge ?

Subject: [arm-allstar] V1.5 update slight correction
I inadvertently left out the node on the end of the saytime examples in the
previous email. It should read as examples:
/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/saytime.pl 18954 40000 /usr/bin/perl
/usr/local/sbin/say24time.pl 18954 40000
/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/saytime.pl phl 40000 /usr/bin/perl
/usr/local/sbin/say24time.pl phl 40000
/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/saytime.pl w-KPHL001 40000 /usr/bin/perl
/usr/local/sbin/say24time.pl w-KPHL001 40000
Where 18954 is the zip, phl is airport ID, and w-KPHL001 is wunder ID and
40000 is the node. Replace with your values. Node could be $NODE1 to select
your first node.
In the cron entry it would look like this:
00 0-23 * * * (source /usr/local/etc/allstar.env ; /usr/bin/nice -19
/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/saytime.pl 18954 $NODE1 > /dev/null)
or
00 0-23 * * * (source /usr/local/etc/allstar.env ; /usr/bin/nice -19
/usr/bin/perl /usr/local/sbin/say24time.pl 18954 $NODE1 > /dev/null)
Both all on one line and of course times could be changed to suit your needs
or comment the line '#' if you don't want to play it at all.
