[arm-allstar] Upgrading without the menu?

Hi Doug,
First let me say that the new image installation went quite well.
However Buddy's concerns re-the menu also caused me some difficulty.
I can live with the garbage speech from the drawing of the menu but
unfortunately the way that menu works there is no way for keyboard access to
navigate it easily.
It and the time zone menu have more than 9 choices.
So for example on the admin menu I can't use any choice past 9.
I tried typing in two digits but only the second digit sticks.
If the code could be changed to allow for a two digit entry it would help.
Currently I can type "9" and then hit enter.
However I can't type "15" instead when I hit enter I get the network config
menu.
I had to manually set the tz since that menu had lots of options past 9 as
well.
Overall I'm getting comfortable with the new image and had my node mostly
functional in only 30 minutes.
My deepest thanks for all you and the team do.
You and Dave and others are always on the list answering questions and
interacting with folks helping them get on the air.
I'd have run screaming in to the street after only a few hours in the
spotlight.
Yet you are always there and helping.
I can't think of a better example of what ham radio is supposed to be than
how you all have supported Allstar and all of us.
Again my thanks!

Buddy,
One thing that is always the case is that when you enter the ADMIN menu
you are always at item number 1 which is the update. So if you enter the
menu and hit return twice it will always attempt an update.
If you want to do it from the command line the line should read -
/usr/local/hamvoip-pacman/bin/pacman --force --noconfirm --yes -Syu
Also keep in mind that updates don't happen daily (like windows!) and they
will be announced on the arm-allstar email list.
