[arm-allstar] Connecting to my own nodes

OK here is the answer... Allstar looks up IP addresses based on the node
number for connections. So if you have a server A and a server B on the
same router they both would have the same public IP but different IAX
ports. When you try to connect server A to server B or vice versa they are
trying to connect to one another using the public IP not the local IP. This
is fine on many routers because the router is aware of its own public IP
and loops it back to the other device. But some routers are not able to do
that so you need to specifically put routes in each server to the other. Be
sure you also specify the port when doing this. This is done in the nodes
section of rpt.conf. Instead of going through the procedure here see the
howto on it at hamvoip.org
https://www.hamvoip.org/multi-server%20howto.pdf
One very important caveat though. If you setup this local connection
capability on your portable node with your wifi it will then NOT connect
back to home when using a Cell or outside of your LAN Internet because it
will then try to use the local IP. So it is one or the other not both.
I hope that answers your question.
