[arm-allstar] Trouble with dtmf script commands

I followed the instructions in scripts.pdf for shutdown and reboot. If I remember correctly, it was stated to add the line of commands in rpt.conf in the functions section. Unless I'm blind, I only saw one functions section. It was functions(xxxxxx) node number and at the bottom of the file, after the second node. 
I added the info verbatim, but only changed the number after the A. I also left <node> at the end. That didn't work. I reread the instructions and changed node to my node number <xxxxxx>. I created a second line, like the first, but changed A to another letter on dtmf and pointed it to the reboot or restart.sh file. Nothing happens when I key up, press the letter and numbers for the function and unkey.
I don't have my node with me at the time of writing this email.
