[arm-allstar] Help With an Error Message

Have had an 'oops' ... and needed to restore a backup.

Now when I attempt to start asterisk (astres.sh) I get the following error
message:

Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.ctl exist?)

/var/run/asterisk.ctl does exist.

Please enlighten me....
