John,

  Yes, Lawrence's recommendation is the way to do it. The V1.5 code will
have an option in the administrative window to do it directly. No need to
remember script names.

In most cases it is probably a good idea to just let it be DHCP and set it
as permanent in your router once the address is assigned. Then you can port
forward to that address. This makes it more flexible. If you ever move it
somewhere else no matter what the IP assignment range is it will just work.
