Hi
when i set up my 900 Quantar i used J14 (MRTI)
There was no need to use use the audio amp in the URI
it was wired as follows as follows
URI WIRE QUANTAR USE22 RD 1 TX AUDIO1 BK 2 PTT19 SH 9 GROUND8 GN 15 COR21 W 7 RX AUDIO
The MRTI may need to be activated in the software

I am in the process of interfacing Allstar to a 900 MHz Quantar.
I amrunning Image Version 1.5rc2 with a DMK URI and a Northcomm
Technologies cable connected to the 50 pin interface connector. Looking
at the modulation levels on a service monitor, it appears to be a bit
low running about 1.8 KHz.
This is with the TX level set to 900 and the internal 6 db amp in the
URI in line. In looking at the mod scope, it does not appear that any
limiting is taking place on the TX audio.
In the previous connection to a repeater controller, I had not problems
achieving about 2.0 KHz which is what I like to see for 12.5 KHz
bandwidth modulation.
Any input from those running Quantars would be appreciated.
Joe
